High School Field
Game Specifics
· All games are mini-soccer, 7 per side on field including goalkeeper.
·
Check equipment – shin guards are recommended and no jewelry.
· Minimum number of players per team is 5.
·
Games start at 6:45 (10 minutes grace may be allowed for players to arrive).
· If one or both teams have insufficient numbers, teams may elect to play if both coaches agree.

The team with less than the minimum number of players is deemed to have lost: 0-1.

If neither team has the minimum number no points are awarded: 0-0.
· All games are 25-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime.
·
A game is deemed to be complete if less than 25% remains to be played.
· The home team is responsible for the game sheet.
· All FIFA rules apply, except for the following:
· Substitution
is unlimited, allowed at any stoppage. Players must enter and exit at the same location.
·
Refereeing will emphasis instruction rather than punishment, however yellow and red cards can be given for unsportsmanlike conduct and dangerous play.
Referee Details
· You do not have to tolerate any verbal or physical abuse directed toward either yourself or players on the field. If this occurs stop the game. Speak to the coaches. They are responsible to correct the situation. If the abuse continues, inform the coaches that the game is
abandon. Leave the field and complete a Special Incident report.
· Referee fees will be paid monthly by mail or by pre-arrangement with the Head Referee.

Corner flags can be obtained from head ref.
· The game sheet must be completed in full and signed. There should be no need for yellow and red cards at this age level. Players can be instructed as they are to play or send them off to
have the coach speak to them. If the behaviour persist, then cards can be issued.

· If you cannot make an assignment, you are responsible for arranging a substitute referee
using your game schedule and the accompanying list of available referees.
Make arrangements at least 1 week prior to your game and inform the Head Referee
(call and leave a message).–
· Failure to appear at your game or to arrange a substitute will result in a fine of the match fee for your next game.
