Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and colouring to water. Add liquid to dry ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until it turns to a real rubbery ball. Work for a few minutes when cool. Store in Air tight container.

Instead of using food coloring...why not use Kool-Aid
It works wonderfully. It gives the dough the color you want and a very nice scent to go along with it. Color does not stain children's hands as badly either.
