DRUC Financial Basis(Contact: Michael Stephens) General Philosophy The Deep Water Underwater Club (DRUC) is a non-profit organization. The financial basis of the club is structured around revenues from instruction, rentals, and commercial dives are intended to cover all equipment maintenance costs. Where/when costs are encountered during dive events; those costs are shared among the participants. While operating costs were quite low years ago, the dramatic rise in insurance costs has translated into a rise in the membership dues to keep the club financially viable. |
