Re E-mail from Linda Cornwell about Charles
Wilkins
Good
Day,
There
is another good book to add to the list: - "After The
Applause - Ten NHL Greats and Their Lives After Hockey",
co-authored by Charles Wilkins and Colleen and
Gordie Howe.
I can
vaguely remember Charles Wilkins, being in the same
class at Cockroft School in the early years. As well,
can just remember Linda and Doug Cornwell a little
(but a year or two apart in ages from me).
Yours
Truly,
Brian Vollmer b.vollmer@sympatico.ca |

"The River
Bank" -Investing in Our Community
|
|
Things are proceeding with the
improvements to be made to our waterfront by the "River
Bank" project. They will add to our enjoyment of the river
setting that is such an integral part of our community.
The River Bank is a community project that will be only
partly funded by municipal taxes and the project team is
working hard at securing other funding sources. We hope that
both Current and Past Residents residents of Deep
River might want to do your part and help fund our project,
a small investment in the town that you still call home.
You can make your cheque payable to the Town of Deep River with waterfront
improvement in the memo line. Be sure to include your return
address so that we can issue you a charitable receipt. Mail

Example Family/Rec Room
This family/rec room prior to
staging had extra tables and children's toys distracting
the buyer and an alphabet pictogram highlighting the
bulkhead. In the after picture you will see that a
suitable amount of furniture remained and the room now
appears as a more clean and relaxing space for family
gathering. Cost $0

Free Home Staging Advice:
Tattered couches, floral borders, poufy curtains .... If your
home is for sale, look around....are any of these fashion faux
pas lurking in your property? If so, take my free advice and
banish them if you want today's buyers to fall in love with your
house. They say "nothing in the world is free", however that advice is
completely free and could actually make you money. You would
never think of selling your car with the fuzzy dice hanging from
the mirror or the dingle-balls trimming the roof, then you
should also update your home's appearance so it appeals
to modern buyers. Statistics confirm that most buyers are
younger than sellers are so your property needs to appeal to
their younger tastes and lifestyle. What do today's young
buyers want? ....Modern sleek decor, no repair work to do, and
somewhere they can be proud to entertain their friends. Today's
buyers also do most of their home pre-screening on the
internet so if you're home's MLS pictures don't interest them,
you've lost them before they ever step into your house. Using
furniture and accessories that you already own, we will place
them to enhance your home's features and look great on MLS. Two of the major things that buyers are looking for in a
property are storage space and bright light spaces; both of
which can be found in the home your already have, and often be
created at little or no expense. During a Home Staging
Consultation I will advise you how you can create more space and
light in each room of your home and make today's modern your
buyers fall in love with your house. Check my website at
www.karenbellhomestaging.ca and call me at me at 613-584-4551 to get
started. |
