MS. EULOINE G. TRAPP MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded for the second
time during the 2012 Contest in memory of Ms. Euloine G. Trapp,
a generous Benefactor who was a life-long fan of music and
traditional fiddling. Ms. Trapp was born in Pembroke and
returned to her beloved Ottawa Valley after a career in teaching
at the elementary level in various centres throughout the
Province of Ontario, that is – Timmins, Toronto, London and
Perth. An accomplished piano player, her love of children
fostered a natural attraction and interest to the Pembroke
Fiddling Contest, especially in the performances of the young
participants.
